The other books have always been very artistic and brightly coloured. There is a sombre feel to the book highlighted by the colour palate. There is a new Dream of the Endless but he’s not the same and knows it, choosing to stay out of the mourners way. Those he loved and who loved him in return and those whose life he touched in some way have come to gather their respects or in some cases weep and berate they won’t get to fight with him one last time. Morpheus, Dream of the Endless is dead, defeated by The Sinister One. I enjoyed The Wake and felt it was a fitting end to a hugely enjoyable experience.
